The horticultural Saturdays


Every Saturday of the summer, from June 22nd to September 21st, the Parc Marie-Victorin will offer a free horticultural workshop to the visitors. During your visit, come and learn more on a variety of subjects such as the art of the bonsais, compost, pruning technique, pollination and much more! The workshops will start at 10 am. Don’t miss the opportunity to eat at our Bistro-terrace the Nectar after the workshop. No need to reserve. 


June 22nd: Guided visit in the gardens with Rock Giguère and Martin Ryan 

July 6th: Bees and pollination with the Miellerie King

July 13th: The techniques related to the creation of bonsais with Linda Chicoine. This conference will be given during our annual Bonsais and penjing exhibition 

July 20th: Comestible flowers with Nathalie Beaudoin, herbalist

July 27th: Pruning techniques with Aménagement Vert Tige

August 3rd: medicinal plants wotj Richard Jeanotte

August 17th: the art of Kusamono (companions planting) by Linda Chicoine

Fees of $ 25 are applicable 

August 24th: Guide visite of the discovery circuit with Rock Giguère and Martin Ryan during our discovery days

August 31st: Sprouts with Les Petites Pousses Vert Tendre - annulé

September 7th: Compost presented by Englobe

September 21st : Day of the
