NEW!
1 museum and 2 exhibitions
This new large-scale contemporary facility further strengthens the museum dimension of Parc Marie-Victorin, which has been officially recognized as a museum institution since 2019 by the Société des musées du Québec.
Drawing on the idea of digging—both in ironworking and in agriculture—the architectural concept is based on a gesture of insertion into the land of the park.
The building’s layout opens onto a central trench that highlights majestic conifers and creates a visual perspective on the landscape, weaving this museum space into the gardens. In addition, a green roof and a rooftop terrace offer views of the river, the museum reserve, agricultural fields, and the terraced edible planting stands.
