Our team is composed of passionate employees of all ages! This job can suit students, contractual employees or retirees.
FONCTIONS
At the vegetable garden:
- Offer a guided tour of the vegetable garden to present the blooming flowers and vegetables ready to be picked;
- Offer a tasting of the edible flowers, vegetables and herbs;
- Listen to the growing vegetables;
- Welcoming the visitors;
- Offer tastings of the local products to the visitors;
- Share and exchange knowledge about the secrets of our vegetable garden.
Exhibition venue
- Welcoming the visitors to the exhibition venue;
- Tell about the life and accomplishments of Marie-Victorin;
- Heighten awareness of the visitors of the flora that surrounds us.
Job requirements
- Loves being in contact with the public;
- Loves to work outside;
- Has a contagious good humor;
- Independent and curious.
Type of job
- Seasonal employment, June – October;
- 20 – 25 hours per week;
- Possible to work full-time by performing other tasks, hosting school groups, guided tours of the gardens, factory tours, reception clerk;
- By day, weekdays and weekends;
- Flexible schedule;
- Training on site;
- Documentation and costumes provided.
Remuneration
- 15,75$ – 17,25 per hour
